Seville tiles in the New York MET

MET.  Metropolitan Museum of Arts.
1000 Fifth Avenue.  New York, New York 10028 - 0198   U.S.A.

During his recent visit to New York, my son Ángel was able to enjoy a magnificent collection of Seville tiles from the 16th to the 18th Century in the Metropolitan Museum of this city.

It was of great satisfaction to see that those responsible for the MET had understood the value of these tiles and see how they were displayed. The majority of them came from donations from private collectors during the 19th Century and the early 20th century.
